- Recurrent On-site Appointment. GLOBO HQ makes it easy to create recurring on-site appointments. Users can now create appointments that repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. Please note that the maximum recurring limit is one year.

- Side Navigation Menu Improvements. This release includes a new look to the sidebar navigation menu. We’ve refreshed the icons, simplified the process for launching audio and video calls, and added a new Insights dashboard to review all reporting details.
Which users will be impacted: All GLOBO HQ Users - New Audio and Video Dashboards. In an effort to streamline our reporting function, we have removed reporting from the Audio Interpreting and Video Interpreting dashboards. Now all reporting is available in one place on the Insights dashboard.
Which users will be impacted: All GLOBO HQ Users - Improved Video User Interface. The web video experience has been redesigned to better support GLOBO users.
Which users will be impacted: ALL GLOBO HQ Users - Translation Quote Approval Waiver. We’re launching a new workflow to streamline the translation project quote approval process for customers who prefer to bypass the standard quote approval. GLOBO Connect for iOS Release 2.1.0

This GLOBO Connect release offers improvements to the user experience. Features include:
- Auto Rollover to Audio Call. We’ve streamlined the process for connecting to an interpreter. Now, video requests will automatically roll over to an audio interpreter when a video interpreter is unavailable. Organizations must update the app to see this enhancement.

This GLOBO HQ release offers improvements to the interpreter contact center, translation, reporting, and technical updates. Features include:
- Translation Requests. Access your translation project quotes with ease. In this release, GLOBO HQ users will be able to download translation quotes directly from the portal. In cases where a translation request is canceled, users will be prompted to select a reason from a dropdown menu; this is to help us continuously improve our services.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO HQ Users - Connection Hub Integrations. This release includes updates to enhance compatibility and streamline the data transfer process to the Connection Hub API, offering a more seamless integration with EHR systems.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO Account Administrators - Call Reports. Gain greater visibility into audio call data. We’re introducing improvements to the audio interpreting call reports to further enhance the report and search functionality.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO HQ Users - Interpreter Contact Center. For customers leveraging their own internal interpreters on the GLOBO HQ platform, this dashboard provides reporting on calls and interpreter actions. This allows for easy navigation and viewing essential information related to company interpreters and calls. Additionally, the Interpreter Contact Center provides access to the Call Center Dashboard and Linguist Dashboard, allowing GLOBO HQ Company Administrators to monitor their calls and interpreters live.

GLOBO HQ Release 2.0.15

This GLOBO HQ release offers improvements to reporting, account administration, and technical updates. Features include:
- Interpreter Contact Center. For customers leveraging their own internal interpreters on the GLOBO HQ platform, this dashboard provides reporting on calls and interpreter actions. This allows for easy navigation and viewing of essential information related to company interpreters and calls. Additionally, we have introduced smart routing for audio and video interpreting services so that calls are sent to an organization’s internal interpreters first.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO HQ Users - Translation Invoices. We’ve made incremental improvements to the translation invoicing process by adding support to generate invoices by intake and percentage. This approach simplifies the invoicing process and provides greater transparency and accuracy for GLOBO and our customers.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO HQ Account Administrators and GLOBO HQ Users - Read-only User Role for On-site. In this release, we are introducing new features to enhance efficiency and streamline the scheduling process for on-site interpreters. Users can now add multiple contacts to a scheduled appointment, who will receive all status update notifications. Additionally, we've included a read-only access permission, which allows users to view appointments without the ability to request additional services, as long as they are listed as appointment contacts.

GLOBO Connect for iOS Release 2.0.0
Launched on: 08.06.2024
This iOS release marks a new era for the GLOBO point of access application.
- GLOBO Connect. We are excited to introduce GLOBO Connect, previously known as the GLOBO HQ Point of Access app. The renamed app reflects the language solutions we provide 24/7/365. At GLOBO, our core mission is to serve as the pivotal link, connecting multilingual individuals with the essential services they need when it matters most. The GLOBO Connect app allows users to access audio and video remote interpreting services anytime, anywhere. Please note that the GLOBO HQ Portal will not change. Users will still use the GLOBO HQ portal to track and manage their services.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO Connect for iOS Users (Anyone who uses the app from iOS) - iOS Production Bug Fixes. This release includes technical updates to enhance GLOBO Connect’s functionality and user experience.

- Account Administration. The release features advancements to streamline our accounting process.

Ongoing improvements have been made to Scheduled Calls to enhance functionality and improve the interpreter experience. Updates include overriding the participant information when the participant code is not used and sending automatic reminder emails to notify interpreters of an upcoming appointment.

We are introducing new role capabilities that will enable Account Administrators to create “view-only” users to easily view ongoing translation projects. This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers administrative, reporting, and engineering enhancements. Updates include:- Service Name Rebrand. We're rebranding "Document Translation" to simply "Translation" across GLOBO HQ and communications to better showcase the wide range of our translation offerings.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO HQ Portal Users - Reporting Enhancements. We've made some fantastic improvements to GLOBO HQ’s reporting features, including new UX enhancements such as timezone indicators and new filtering options. Users can now set Monday as the start of the week and choose from additional timeframes like weekly or monthly. Plus, all users now have the ability to export more than 4,000 records for Audio and VRI call reports. Additionally, “Telephone Interpreting” has been renamed to “Audio Interpreting” on reports. Note: This change will be reflected on the HQ dashboard in a future release.

- Linguist Management. Improvements to our linguist management dashboard allow GLOBO's Talent Management and Quality Assurance teams to manage users' profiles easily.
Which users will be impacted: GLOBO Account Administrators - On-site Request Update. In this release we’ve updated an intake field for requesting on-site interpreters. When requesting an on-site interpreter appointment, users must enter the contact information of the limited English-speaking individual or service provider in the “Consumer Name” field.

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers improvements to account administration and coordinated services features. Updates include:
- Invoice Preview. With Invoice Preview, you will be able to export your Invoice and Call Detail report into one single (type) file. This new feature is not on by default, but customers can opt in. To activate Invoice Preview, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Which users will be impacted: Account Administrators - Account Administration. Ongoing enhancements to our invoicing configuration allow for a more efficient workflow whenever changes are made to company users.
Which users will be impacted: Account Administrators - Translation Project Notifications. To further improve translation project requests, customers will be prompted to upload files for each project before submitting requests. Also, customers will receive a notification and automatic file download when projects are completed.
Which users will be impacted: Account Administrators - Company Management. Ongoing user experience improvements have been made on the Enterprise Management page, providing additional functionality and a streamlined view of companies within an organization.

- Limited Scheduled Call and On-Site User. When creating new users, you’ll notice that you can limit users' access so they only view and edit the Scheduled Calls and On-Site Appointments created by them. To access this feature, please contact your customer success manager.
- Service Users for On-Site and Scheduled Calls. Now you can manage your On-Site and Scheduled Calls service line access by user. For example, if you have several locations and want to limit access based on the user’s location. To access this feature, please contact your customer success manager.
- Translations API Update. Improvements to enable GLOBO project managers to work more efficiently.
- Continuous Stability and Security Updates. This includes incremental HTML enhancements.

- Scheduled Calls. If the scheduled call information needs to be updated after an interpreter has been assigned to an appointment, the portal will prompt users to cancel and create a new scheduled call. This feature was designed to enhance the scheduled call experience and avoid confusion with interpreters.
- Billing & Data. Internal improvements to billing and data features provide a streamlined process for invoice format and enhanced data insights.

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers streamlined improvements, such as access to Single Sign On, and ongoing enhancements to billing and security features. Updates include:
- Single Sign On/Okta/Auth0 Integration. Powered by Auth0’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform, users can safely access GLOBO HQ through the same system you use to authenticate elsewhere. To get started configuring single sign on, please reach out to your customer success manager, who will schedule an implementation call with our technical team.
- Warm Call Transfer between Agent and Interpreters. Implementing the ability for GLOBO Agents to communicate with interpreters before transferring a telephone interpreting call to them.
GLOBO HQ for Android Release 1.3.0
Launched on May 10, 2023
This Android release offers features that improve the experience at the point of access, including the ability to configure Single Sign On, so providers don’t need to remember a separate set of credentials. All devices using the GLOBO HQ Android app will be required to update their app in order to continue to use the GLOBO app. Updates include:
- Single Sign On Access GLOBO HQ with the same system you use to authenticate elsewhere. To get started configuring single sign on, please reach out to your customer success manager who will schedule an implementation call with our technical team.
- Portrait Mode. We no longer force landscape orientation when making Audio and Video calls.
GLOBO HQ Portal Release 1.9.9.4

This GLOBO HQ Portal minor release offers enhancements to our platform and key improvements to data and insights reporting features. Updates include:
- Virtual Backgrounds for VRI. Create a consistent user experience with virtual backgrounds. GLOBO spoken-language video interpreters can now join calls with a standard virtual background. Custom backgrounds may be configured by customer. To add a custom background, reach out to your customer success manager.
- Translation & Localization Project Efficiencies. GLOBO Translation Project Managers will receive email communications for project updates, allowing for more seamless project communications.
GLOBO HQ for Mobile iOS Release 1.4.0
Launched on May 1, 2023
This iOS release offers features that improve the experience at the point of access, including the ability to configure Single Sign On, so providers don’t need to remember a separate set of credentials. - Scheduled Calls. Access an existing scheduled call from an iOS device. Simply enter the access code to join the call directly from the app.
- Configurable Session Timeout Support. Session Timeout can be configured for your organization.
- Device IDs. When installing GLOBO HQ on an iOS device using an MDM, a Device ID that will be included on all requests can be set.
- Barcode Scanner. Simple barcode scanner which supports scanning plain text barcodes in as intake values. This feature requires implementation based on barcode-specific parameters by client.
