November 2022 – GLOBO, a technology-enabled language solutions provider, is pleased to announce the launch of a new paid family leave policy. This new benefit allows eligible full-time and part-time GLOBO employees to take up to four weeks of paid leave in a 12-month period for qualifying life events such as the birth of a child, adoption, and caring for sick family members.
According to a 2022 study by Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), employee leave is one of the top-ranked workplace benefits.
“We’re an employee-centric company that champions better experiences for our team both in and out of the office,” said Matt Ficca, GLOBO’s Vice President of Finance and People Operations. “Introducing our new family leave policy was a very easy decision for the GLOBO leadership team, and we are excited to provide a benefit that can make a meaningful impact on our employees.”
In addition to providing paid leave, GLOBO has expanded its employee compensation packages to offer greater healthcare network coverage, 100% employer-paid premium plans, employer HSA contributions, and complimentary life insurance, all while significantly reducing costs for employees.
Aon, a leading global employee benefits advisor, estimates that employer-paid healthcare costs will rise 6.5% in 2023, which is more than double what companies historically budget. “In an environment where costs are continually rising, especially in healthcare, GLOBO is proud to continue providing robust benefits packages for eligible employees while reducing costs,” added Ficca.
